1.Fill out the online
application form
Fill out the
DS-160 form on the website: https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ (U.S. non-immigrant
visa)
2.Sign up for an
interview
After completing
the DS-160 form, go to the site: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/fr-ca/niv to get an
appointment and pay the application fee.
3.Preparing the
necessary documents for the interview
4.Pass the
interview and get the visa
In our experience, the chance of obtaining the U.S. visa depends on the entirety of the documents prepared and how you react during the interview. Show that your goal to get a U.S. visa is not to stay in the U.S., but only to visit.
Please note that Canadians do not need to apply for a U.S. visa to travel to the United States. Citizens of visa waiver countries do not need to apply for a U.S. visa to travel to the United States, but it’s highly suggested to request an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
